Darcy Kennedy, co-owner of Steel Goat Marketplace, is one of the visionary minds behind the vibrant community space. Together with her co-owner, Jayme, Darcy has poured immense hard work and dedication into curating a unique marketplace where vendors can showcase and sell their products with ease. Her passion for supporting local artisans and fostering a creative environment shines through in every corner of the marketplace.

Jayme, co-owner of Steel Goat Marketplace, has deep roots in small business. Her journey began with “Penn Hills Lawn and Garden,” a thriving garden center she ran with her mom. Over the years, this modest shop blossomed into a beloved community hub. When the pandemic struck, Jayme and Darcy saw an opportunity to grow and decided to extend the upstairs gift shop into a full-blown vendor marketplace. The garden center still thrives today, albeit a bit smaller and more focused. On certain days, you can still find Jayme in her section, “Gardening with Jayme,” sharing her love of plants with the community.

Susan is a valuable member of the Steel Goat Marketplace team, dedicated to ensuring that every vendor’s voice is heard and respected. She works tirelessly to make sure the marketplace operates smoothly and in the best interests of the vendors. As a vendor herself, with her section “Blue House Charming Country Crafts,” Susan understands the unique needs of the marketplace community. A wordsmith at heart, she also serves as our researcher, digging deep to find out what we can and can’t do at Steel Goat Marketplace. Susan’s care for the customers and love for chatting with the locals make her an irreplaceable asset to our team.
